It's really not that hard to make your own shaving cream and eliminate any packaging. When you make it yourself you can increase the emoliation which gives you a better shave. My fiance uses a straight razor and I use a safety razor and since we started making our own we haven't had any problems with irritated skin or accidentally slicing ourselves.
