Orchestrate and carryout all facets of administrative and business development; ultimately accountable for profit/loss performance of business operations. · Secured business with QVC, Walgreens, Hobo, Ace Hardware, Costco, Gordon Food Service, Whole Foods and other national grocers and specialty stores.
· Subsequent to 9/11 event, coordinated sale of specialized disposable gloves to USPS (United States Postal Service) and secured $400,000 contract; agreement recognized amongst first contracts negotiated with USPS.
· After Identifying weakness in retail marketplace in mid 2008, pursued companies for closeout merchandise. Secured alliance with pet toy supplier and moved $250,000.00 of inventory within couple months.
· Worked in concert with McCormick Spice Company on development of filled spice rack (able to be refilled at grocery stores through purchase of replacement bottles); replaced 36/$30 product with unit $25 more expense; also convinced retailer to purchase more profitable unit. Resulted in substantial increase in sales and profits.
· Successfully strategized, motivated and encouraged bottled spring water facility toward securing Sam’s Wholesale Club as viable account generating $500,000 annually for 5 years. Persuaded once discouraged distributor to continue efforts ultimately winning commitment from Sam’s Wholesale Club’s to implement additional branded product as opposed to solely traditional private label.
· Coordinated agreement with luggage company (owner of Oleg Cassini name) on development of fashion forward line of luggage; enabled company to exceed $25 million in sales (separate from parent company).
· Consistently saved clients money through reduction in packaging and shipping costs (facilitated through resolution of packaging and shipping issues).
· Collaborated with several small and start-up companies and provided expertise in product development, pricing and packaging as well as sales and marketing; facilitated movement of companies to new products, packaging and markets as well as modification of business operations.
