Pet toys are typically made from the cheapest materials. They do not hold up to the demands of humans and dogs, and they end up in landfills. In fact, I usually will not buy a dog toy, as a stick can serve the same purpose, then again, a stick dog is an annoying dog. I was a little concerned a shampoo bar would not allow me to truly lather my dog's fur thoroughly, but I found the bar easy to use. In fact, my dog liked the way it felt like a massage as I rubbed it into his fur.
I do think that almost $8 a bar is a little pricey when you have big dogs. A bottle of Dr. Bronner's lasts much longer and is cheaper. It is my usual doggie shampoo.

The FDA (Food and Drug Administration) announced that The Hartz Mountain Corporation has voluntarily recalled 74,800 8-ounce bags of Hartz Naturals Real Beef Treats for Dogs which may be tained with Salmonella. My dogs have tried Holistic Select dog food before with favorable results, now it's our 124-pound puppy's turn to review "beyond natural, beyond holistic" food.

Appropriate or not, this is how it works: Doga combines massage and meditation with gentle stretching for dogs and their human partners. In chaturanga, dogs sit with their front paws in the air while their human partners provide support. In an "upward-paw pose," or sun salutation, owners lift dogs onto their hind legs. In a resting pose, the person reclines, with legs slightly bent over the dog's torso, bolster-style, to relieve pressure on the spine.
I'm not sure my dogs would comply, and they would probably spend their time sniffing other dogs in class. Besides, they already spend a lot of time in their version of corpse pose.
