Anti-Aging Whole Food Bar by Regeneration

Can a food bar really prevent aging? That's the claim of
Regeneration's Anti-Aging Whole Food Bar. This bar provides 150% of our recommended daily dose of antioxidants from superfood ingredients like Goji Berries, Blueberries, Cranberries, Mulberries, Grapes, Pomegranate, Acai, Mangosteen, Agave Nectar, Almonds, Jiaogulan Tea, Pistachio Nuts, C-Ester, and Omega 3,6,9. These antioxidants attack free radicals that damage the healthy cells in our bodies. These bars have been independently tested by
Brunswick Laboratories to contain a super high 7,800 ORAC units per bar.
ORAC stands for (Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity). (ORAC) measures the total antioxidant power of foods and nutrients. The ORAC test is considered to be the industry standard in determining the Antioxidant level of foods and nutrients. The National Institute on Aging developed the ORAC method and the US Department of Agriculture and Brunswick Labs have been instrumental in perfecting the ORAC assay procedure and testing various foods to determine ORAC levels.
Higher levels of ORAC in food equate to greater levels of antioxidants which in turn protect our bodies from "Free Radicals" which are known to be the main culprit of aging.
I don't know if these bars are the fountain of youth, but I have to be honest...they weren't a big hit in my household. They may be really good for your body, but the flavor and texture are not outstanding. I was expecting a totally different flavor from "regenerating cocoa brownie" than what I tested. They aren't gross, but they aren't something I would go out of my way to eat either.
