Adora Calcium Supplements: I'd Eat Them for Pleasure
Chocolate Lovers and Nutrition Buffs Unite! I've just discovered Adora Chocolate Calcium Supplements, and the world is a beautiful place.
As someone who struggles to get enough calcium in my diet through whole foods, I try to take a daily calcium supplement. Historically, I've rotated between Tums and Viactive, preferring chewable calcium supplements to the giant horsepill variety. I usually buy the chocolate or caramel flavor of Viactive, but have long felt that people who believe it tastes like real chocolate are kidding themselves. Well, as of right now, I am changing my tune: with Adora Chocolate Calcium Supplements, you can have your chocolate and your calcium, too.
They were giving out free samples of the Adora supplement yesterday at our local Whole Foods, so I figured it was worth a try. Holy moly! Adora tastes just like real chocolate.
And here's the thing. It IS real chocolate.
Instead of making chocolate-flavored calcium supplements, Adora makes actual chocolates, and adds calcium to them. (Why didn't I think of that?)
Each 30-calorie disk contains 500 mg of calcium (50% of the US RDA). The disks are also fortified with Vitamins D and K1 to aid in calcium absorption. And they're completely delicious.
Adora Calcium Supplements come in Dark Chocolate and Milk Chocolate. Buy them and you'll have no problem getting your recommended daily allowance. The challenge will be not getting too much of it. They're that good.
Available in-store at Whole Foods Market and online at Adora Calcium Supplements.
